Digital Health Applied Leadership Program Alumni Network
The Digital Health Applied Leadership Program (DHALP) Alumni Network is a continental platform that connects graduates of the program, ensuring that their learning journeys continue beyond training. The network will be launched at the close of Session 5 in each of the three participating countries, marking the beginning of a sustained movement of digital health leaders committed to advancing sustainable and equitable digital health systems.
Vision
The DHALP Alumni Network envisions a continent-wide movement of empowered leaders who collaborate across borders to scale digital health innovations, embed strong governance, and drive systemic change for healthier, more connected communities. By leveraging PATH and HELINA’s positions as trusted non-state actors, the network will serve as a continental reference point for digital health leadership, advocacy, and collaboration
Purpose
The Alumni Network is to be established to carry forward the leadership, technical, and applied learning foundations built during DHALP 2. It seeks to:
- Sustain learning by fostering peer-to-peer exchange and continued professional growth.
- Strengthen collaboration by connecting alumni across countries and regions to jointly tackle shared digital health challenges, and enabling peer learning that allows countries to leapfrog progress by benchmarking on others’ experiences.
Amplify impact by showcasing alumni-led initiatives, supporting advocacy, and mentoring emerging leaders who can push forward digital health priorities even in contexts of political or financial uncertainty.
