Digitization for Health in Africa — Webinar (Curtain Raiser 1)

Theme: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Health Equity and Universal Health Coverage in Africa

The International Medical Exchange (IME) is launching a new webinar series, Digitization for Health in Africa, under its AI4African Health Initiative. The inaugural session under this initiative is presented by IME International and the IME African Chapter, in partnership with WHO AFRO, Africa CDC, HELINA, SAHIA, Google Cloud, and others. The session brings together health ministries, digital health leaders, academia, development partners, and industry across the continent to build momentum around digital public infrastructure for health.

The programme includes a keynote on the future of AI in African healthcare, panel discussions on AI and disease surveillance and on financing AI for universal health coverage, and a closing Strategic Partner Roundtable, where HELINA joins Google Cloud and the African Union to discuss opportunities for collaboration and scale.
